With affiliate platforms providing new attribution models and reporting features, you are able to see a full-funnel, cross-channel view of how individual marketing tactics are working together. For example, you might see that a paid social campaign generated the first click, Affiliate X got click 2, and Affiliate Y got the last click. With this full picture, you can structure your affiliate commissions so that Affiliate X gets a percentage of the credit for the sale, even though they didn’t get the last click.

I bought this book because of all the previous reviews. I have hard time believing their authenticity after reading the book myself. The info is great and you will learn a great deal about affiliate marketing. My issue is with the incredible amount of grammatical and spelling errors on basically every single page. Affiliate marketing has everything to do with great writing. So I find it odd how terrible the grammar is throughout the entire book. Zero editing was done.
One Thing Still not clear for me though about Call to Action Button, I saw on many sites that people use Pure Text Colored CSS Button with the Call to action like ( Learn more; see details; Shop at Amazon.com; Check the Price; Check the Price at Amazon; Check the Best price, etc ) the problem is the “Amazon” wording, should we use the word “Amazon” on the button? some says that Using the Word is against the terms and the Amazon EU state that one should Say where the button will take the visitor to ( indirectly said that we must say we direct visitor to amazon with that button) Very Confusing ( this is what this Post lacking )
Once your platform is live, you need a product to promote. However, you should avoid the temptation to do this early on. Get that emotional investment going before you attempt to do this. If you begin too early, you run the risk of losing a large portion of your audience. Take the time to first create insatiable content and deliver enormous amounts of value before you attempt to sell your audience anything.
For example, I have a post featuring 10 Affordable Headboards on my blog. Now, instead of just pinning the “pinnable graphic” you see below, I pin that PLUS individual images of each headboard featured within the post. That exponentially increases the chance that people will click on the pin and through to my blog post, which in turn increases my chance of making affiliate sales from that post. Plus, it also boosts traffic to that post, which translates to more ad revenue as well–it’s a win-win!
Promote products that are stepping stones to products you will create in the future. This is a bit more advanced, but is a great way to think ahead. Amy Porterfield suggests thinking about the first thing your followers will need in order to get started with what you provide. For example, I teach people how to blog, so the first thing they need to start a blog is hosting. That’s why I am an affiliate for hosting.
The most important rule you need to remember when adding affiliate links is to mention that it is an affiliate link. In your pin descriptions, Pinterest urges you to always disclose that it is an affiliate link and affiliate networks require it. You can write this within your description or use #affiliate at the end of your description. This needs to be done in order to follow affiliate networks rules and abide by FTC regulations.
